Submit A Walk

The concept of Walk About Britain is that eventually every part of Britain has been logged on this website free for every walker or rambler to use with no registration or subscription.

There for every walker/rambler has the option to Submit A Walk that they have done recently or that they know of. Why would you do this? Well you get to give something back to other walkers.  I am looking forward to hearing what other walkers have to say about the pub walks I have Uploaded on this website, I also cannot wait to Upload a walk from someone who is not me! Wouldn’t you like to contribute?

What You Need-

OS Map Code or Postcode/grid reference of the start point

Details/history/features of the area that you have walked in

A Sketch or scanned map of the walk (including directional arrows)

Distance and timings of the walk

Step by Step guide of the walk (photos are a bonus but not required)

Contact email for clarification of content

Once you have sent me the details of the walk I will upload the walk within 7 days to its own dedicated page and notify Facebook and Twitter so others know of the new addition. I will (with permission of the person submitting the walk) include the name of the author on the Download just so it makes it more personal. So what to do now, Email me the details of a walk you have on the address below:

Or Contact myself for a pass code of the uploader below and I will send you the password to upload details of your walk.

Any walk is welcome to be submitted it does not matter the length duration nor the location.  I will Upload any walk that has been sent to me and that is a promise. Please take part and contribute to the site and watch it grow
