Boxley

Boxley is located just outside of Maidstone opposite Detling.  The village is stunning and very small indeed.  The village sits just below the North Downs and has very picturesque views available.

It has very easy access and the pub- The Kings Arms does fantastic local produce meals and decent prices.  The pub offers IPA Ales.

Despite being so close to Maidstone and two motorways, the village is surrounded by woodland, and still retains the village feel. The ruins of Boxley Abbey are located here. The parish church is dedicated to All Saints. Within the parish are the Museum of Kent Life, and Vinters Valley Nature Reserve. A nineteenth century granary from Boxley was dismantled and re-erected at the Museum.
